Cloud to Cloud

I took photographs of a beautiful lightning storm and caught some great cloud to cloud lightning at sunset. I used my favorite one to create this painting. I love when the sky is so strange and purple.

Back Blogging Post New Baby

My apologies for neglecting this blog. I have been taking a semi maternity leave. Since the baby is already six months old, it is really time to catch up with sharing my latest works.

In my first commission since the baby, I did this portrait of a wonderfully sweet couple. They adore each other and think it shows through in the painting!

Sam and Greg's

Exciting news. The Gallery at Sam and Greg's will have my work on display from March 28th through May 9th. Finally finished!

I finally finished what may be my favorite painting. I still need to get a professional picture of "Masquerade," but here is my home shot image.

Yay! Alas, it won't be dry in time to hang in Sam and Greg's Monday.

Sparkling Ornament

Here is another newly finished 8"x10" paintings. I am considering getting a stash of small 8 x 10 paintings completed and offering one a week for sale on Ebay. If I make the leap into this new arena, I'll post the news here!

Painting class re-scheduled.

I've rescheduled my "key to your heart" painting workshop for February 26th and March 5th, 6pm -9:30pm.

I just finished a sample painting this week. I only have a rough camera phone image (so please excuse the image/color quality). Participants will each be able to choose from a selection of antique style keys and their own backdrop color to create their unique still life painting.
