You are invited to a reception, Friday August 10th, 6-8pm featuring the latest works by oil painter Ann Moeller Steverson. Come up to the 2nd floor of Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment and enjoy refreshments and meet the artist.
I love to paint beautiful people, places and things. Many of my recent works are still life, but not all. These iconic objects or subjects have subtle connections with stories or memories I enjoyed from my adolescence. The new pieces featuring the still life object placed below or near them echo the memories of both the item’s
real past and shared cultural associations. This is an on ongoing theme I am continuing to explore.
